This thread is to explain to Rya why pedophilia is bad. Feel free to contribute anti-pedo wisdom.
Rya, one way to look at it is that to a person much younger than you, your age alone makes a respected person of authority. Authority figures, such as teachers, are not supposed to have relationships with those under them, because it would be a misuse of authority.
Another way of looking at it is one of how much a person is in control of their emotions. A 14 year old should have less control of their emotions than a 22 year old and is more likely to make mistakes, just as a drunk person might. Two 14 year olds or two drunk people hooking up might be a mistake, but neither person is more at fault. An older person or a sober person taking advantage of someone not in control of their emotions is a sexual predator, because they are doing something sleazy and immoral just to increase their chances of scoring.
And finally, Rya, it's clear that you are 7 or 8 years less mature than your age, and that is why you prefer young girls. Screwing young girls isn't going to make you more mature - you're going to have to leave your house. I suggest getting a job (working at McDonalds is a wonderful way to get to know people from all over the world), then taking a long road trip. |

but let's get the definition out of the way :

* the sexual interest is toward children, either prepubescent or at the beginning of puberty
* the sexual interest is the primary one, that is, exclusively or mainly toward children
* the sexual interest remains over time

With that said, Rya seems more like a gimmick in the spirit of Something Awful's Marshall Bananna (who could not shut up about Souffle in SO3) |

Yup, see that's why I wrote "That's what you assume".
Also it depends a lot on the person, there are 14 year olds that are more mature than me and 14 year olds that are less mature than me.
and that is why you prefer young girls.
Well yeah I prefer girls that are mentally close to me. But that even includes 25 years olds that are very childish, although I have to admit that I find younger ones better looking(like in Hermione-good-looking).

Seriously. I'm not really pedo. I think younger girls(12-16) are better looking than older ones... yeah... I also like looking at even younger ones(0-11) playing but it's not sexual attraction there... more like "I wish I had a little sister" or maybe(?) "I wish I had a daughter" feeling.
Regarding relationships/love in fact, it's not that I like younger ones, it's rather that I don't care about age at all. She can be 12-40 years old. The only reason why there are limitations is that I know for too young girls that they don't really know what love is so once they get into puperty they'll usually leave me anyways. And for older ones I'm a bit scared that they die before me and leave me alone.
In any other way I don't think age is any important.
The only thing that really counts in their character. Yes, if they are not mature enough I wouldn't go with them. They need some intelligence. In fact intelligence is one important factor of me falling in love. It doesn't necessarily mean "School Intelligence" it can also be "Being Philosophic". Also I like girls that still behave cute. Like saying "Meow" just for fun. Most importantly they have to like me as well. Since most girls are like "OMG YOU ARE SO CHILDISH I COULD NEVER IMAGINE A RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU" or just "You are ugly, don't talk with me" I have to take what I can get as long as the intelligence and cuteness is given.
Another thing that counts a little are the looks. Yeah in this case I like girls that are a little bit younger than me... but it's really nothing I can decide or something. I can decide that looks are not so important to me, but I can't decide what type of girls I like. I can just look at a girl and either say "OMG SO CUTE" or "Not my type".
It's the same thing for being gay. You look at boys and are attracted. But you are born like that it's nothing you can decide. And blaming someone for being born is really harsh.
On a final note, I started saying myself that I am pedo, because everybody else says that. I felt very offended some years ago but then I got used to it and started saying myself. These days I can just love at people complaining about it seriously, since I know myself that I never hurted the feelings of any girl(not before she left me and I called her fucking bitch that is). |

I take back my previous statement, Rya isn't a gimmick, he's just crazy.
Why is it that every person that deviates from the sexual norm and gets put down for it (whether said deviancy is harmful or just wierd) needs to equate their predicament to homosexuality? Its the same damm thing when furries say they're being OMG FURSECUTED!
The difference with homosexuality is that its between two consenting adults that are usually on the same maturity level.
Playing "big brother" with sexual benefits is not the same thing. |
