I'll recap for the newcomers: every year since 2004 and a legendary suggestion from Special Blend, the Insert Credit forums celebrate Konami for a week, with a dedicated forum section where basically every topic and every discussion must be closely related to Konami. The first "Fucking Konami Week" (hereafter 'FKW') was not exactly planned or anything, it was more an improvised party and most of the good memories came from the "you had to be there" feeling more than the discussions themselves. Last year for the second FKW, we kinda planned things a bit more. In spite of a few members complaining that it would lose its spontaneity, I think everyone will agree that it was a pretty cool week and one of the best moment of IC. Participation was huge, threads were aplenty. We got toups yaoi, Tokimeki discussions, radio shows and Persona comics. And a lot of Castlevania topics. Since the first FKW was decided on Valentine day, we also follow the unwritten rule that FKW is celebrated around the 14th of february. Therefore the FKW'06 is in a month or so. Now you know.

So! FUCKING KONAMI WEEK 2006!

It's in about a month. What should we do?

I wanted to show Box Hound in english but it won't be ready in time, I am afraid. I had a friend work on a logo for the FKW'06 though. It should be ready sometimes next week. If you like it, I'll give the files to have it print wherever you guys want to. I think it'd be cool to find a funny event, like a competition maybe. I started thinking about something like that, but I have troubles figuring out how to organize it via BBcode. I'll try to find a solution.

Also, we were lucky last time that Valentine Day was on a monday, therefore not having to think much about how to organize the week. However, this year Valentine day is a Tuesday. So should we do it from Tuesday (the 14th) to Monday (the 20)? Or Monday (the 13) to Sunday (the 19)? I am rather a monday>sunday supporter, myself. I put a poll up there that will end in two weeks. There is no joke option because I am a mean fuck.

I am going to make a commit to playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 Arcade for the NES, play it "like a hundred times" and never be able to beat it (that rock guy takes all my lives GOD DAMN IT) and then post vigourously about how evil that game is. Also, I will confuse the Fucking Konami Week forum with Forum Axe and post Yomiko Readman hentai there, so get your Right Click, Save As muscles ready!

There won't be a french version. We're just not completely through with the japanese version, and any english version comes afterwards in our priority list.

I might play Ninja Five-O. I got a legit copy off ebay this week, I went as far as checking the circuit board with a torch to see the 'Nintendo' text. I've still got a few games to work through before I get to it, but I'm looking forward to it!

Ninja Five-O is fucking brilliant. This to me is worth owning an SP for.

I think FKW would be a good time for getting back into DDR with a new arcade mix being announced and all.

I also would love to play Parodius. I've never experienced it. Which would be the best version to hunt down?

Now to dust off that copy of Sunset Riders and to also try my damndest to beat CV3. I will destroy that god damn doppelganger!

I am going to design and manufacture a Fucking Konami Only version of the Super Famicom. It will be backwards and forwards compatible!

Shit... I kept reading it as "Euthenasia Racing" and I'm thinking... wow... it really must be insane! It will KILL YOU with awesomeness, just by playing it. Or maybe the racing is so EXTREME that you are basically committing suicide by participating.

But Enthusia is a shit title. Now I'm really disapointed. Fuck that game.

Would it be possible to do something related to The Simpsons arcade game? I'm looking over the PC port screenshots and wondering why they look much worse than I remember (I guess it's nostalgia, considering how I loved the damn game).
