Agnes got a scale the other day. It's weird; you have to step on it once to turn it on, then wait for four seconds while it "boots up" and figures out what zero weight is. Then you step on it and wait for a few seonds while it does some simple arithmatic.
Anyway, seems I'm at the lower end of my spectrum lately, at flat-out 150 lbs. I tend to hover between there and 165, depending on dependings. Mind that I'm 6'5-1/2", so what I guess I'm really saying is: I'm a rock star! |

My roommate's scale works the same way, except to turn it on you have to kickstomp it violently in one of its corners.
I'm 139 pounds, usually, while towering a majestic 6'1"! |

I'm 5'10", 176lbs. Thankfully, save for the fact that I lost a very nice set of abs to a layer of gut fat, most of that weight comes from a pretty modest set of muscles that I've developed over the past year and a half doing a bizarre mix of strength training and power lifting. I hope to hit about 200lbs one day, assuming that I can keep the fat in check and still gain enough muscle, but if I don't then I hope to at least be able to lift a lot for a guy of my weight level.
In short, I don't look fat. Sadly, I also don't look as muscular as I'd like to. I'm taking up jogging in addition to my lifting though, so perhaps I can drop my body fat percentage down a point or two and add a slight bit of chisel to my frame. Of course, being of a ghastly pale, scottish complexion doesn't do wonders for bodily definition.
Before I lifted, I weighed 140-145 at the same height. I was very twiggy. |

260KG YOU ARE HUGE!
Seriously I don't know about pounds, that shit makes no sense to me. Funny how you American's dumped the monarchy in the war of independence but you keep using the fucking imperial system. METRIC MOTHERFUCKERS. The only way you can make this magic happen is by DOING IT YOURSELVES. Make the dream a reality.

6', currently 185 lbs. Weighed 200-ish at E3, so, yay! Forward progess.
I used to be pretty heavy (245ish). Then I began working out like crazy and went all the way down to 165. Then back to 210 once I got a job where I had to order out for food every day.
Now I'm a vegetarian, exercise semi-regularly, and don't eat as much. I look pretty good now! Still not as good as I used to, but eh. I don't really want to go to the gym for two hours a day anymore. |

Last time I weighed myself, I was at a startling 111lb/50kg. I'm about 5'11. Damn thin. Practically no bodyfat, and probably only the bare minimum of muscle density. I've always had issues absorbing food: Even when I used to eat double cheeseburgers and pizzas and pasta and brownies, I never went over 122.
I don't feel bad/weak/malnurished, but I'd really like to add a good 35lb of muscle. |

Honestly, you should really aim for a steady diet of healthier foods than the ones listed. When I weighed 145, my diet was mostly garbage, but just eating healthier caused me to put on some good weight. Lots of lean meats and veggies combined with a few good fats (eggs and olive oil are my favorites, though I sometimes have a small amount of peanut butter, despite the fact that it doesn't agree with me) will put on some good pounds.
Of course, 35lbs of only muscle is a pretty lofty goal.
Nintendodragon wrote:

Well, you certainly don't have to give up all meat to lose weight. In fact, I wouldn't recommend it, since veggie proteins are ultimately inferior to meat proteins. Usually, lean meats like chicken and turkey are a good way to go, especially if your diet usually consists of bacon-cheeseburgers.
Also, looks like this thread got moderhated. |

Of course, 35lbs of only muscle is a pretty lofty goal.
I have been in a perpetual state of "I'll eat better when I can afford to." If anything, the recent weight loss is due to A) eating Ciabatta Burgers instead of double cheeseburgers; B) tea instead of soda; C) nearly no more empty carb foods; and finally D) I am really tight on funds.
It'll still be a while before I can take on the full brunt of a muscle-building attack, simply because I want to do it right the first time or not do it at all. I intend to do it eventually. I've got a model-grade frame but a geek physique -- that much can be fixed. |

I am so fat, I would need a couple of new threads to discuss it.
I won't do that, though. TDS might!
I'm like, 250. 5' 11" It's awful, really. I don't eat meat either, so, it's murder explaining my gut to people. Mostly I don't mention it - it's easier that way.
I still get the girls, though. No, the pretty ones. Those girls. |

I uh. Have been hovering at 210 for the last few years. 5"11' tall. I think I've been losing weight lately, maybe I'm more around 200 now.
And I just pressed something that made Firefox resize all the fonts and I don't know how to make them bigger. There's got to be some irony there. |

As soon as I saw those directions, I tried it to see if I could get the size only slightly bigger.
This happened.
My first thought was, "ADERACK, FUCK"
Oddly enough.
That dictionary query might... make sense later. If you pay attention. I was looking it up to argue semantically, if I have to.
Of course, I used it again just now, to see if I spelled semantically right.
I did! |
