I just got back from Mexico. It sucked. I have pictures, but you're probably not interested unless you're in to pictures of Mexicans. Video game prices in Mexico are fucked up. GTA SA for Xbox is $75 US and greatest hits games are $30 US. Wavebirds are like $50 us and so are DS games. So it's not surprising it's easy as hell to buy pirated games. They can get CD-R burned PSone games to load without the PSX being modded. I didn't know you could do that. Somebody PM me details on how to do that
So what happened in the news in the last 10 days? I usually read news online every day, so going over a week without having a clue what's going on is weird for me. Also, what's going on in the forums? Are killy and icycalm banned yet?
Also, i'm still in the top 10 posters. Nice. And I bought a Hustler at the airport in Phoenix. Living in Utah, it's weird as shit seeing pornos at newstands. You NEVER see them here anywhere. I'm not even sure where you can buy them in Utah. Sex shops, maybe. |

Well.
He had been asking me for quite a while to start the headlines-thingy. I explained that there was no way I could do it -- I don't have the time. Then a dude at the forums asked for it too. Then I told AG: "we'll do it if you send me one newspost a day". In the 2 weeks since we started this he sent me newsposts on THREE days. A couple times I told him: "you are not keeping your end of the deal". He replied "yeah icy sorry I am on it!". Of course that was a load of crap. Days went by and he only sent me a worthless link to some goddamn 1up article and I told him there was no way I'd link 1up on the frontpage, or anywhere else for that matter. And then earlier today I got on AIM and said "what's up, what the fuck are you doing?"
Here's the conversation:
dyspareunia pop: i'm not going to do stuff for insomnia for a whole 2 days. i am busy with real life shit. packing is seriously hellacious. i know you are not this dense. stop bothering me

Where did you see those prices? Mixup, Tower Records, Gameplanet? Those guys are crazy. You can still get decent deals for original games at tianguis and flea markets if you can stand the filth and the haggling (god do I hate haggling).
Weirdly enough, I've found nice stuff at Sears and other department stores. Like, PSOne games that where insanely priced back in the day, which of course nobody bought at US$100, and now 5 years later they get massively discounted... so I could get UmJammer Lammy and Final Fantasy VII (not GH) for $15. I never dreamed I'd get to tear the shrinkwrap of a brand new PSOne game again.
But DK Jungle Beat without bongos for $75? Fuck that.
