| Explosion of news today......MGS4, Xenosaga III to be a conclusion of some sort, Xenosaga I*II for DS, Katamari for PSP, Baten Kaitos 2, good scores for Screw Breaker (hey, I think that's news!), and....ah, I forgot. Something else. |

Famitsu, by way of GAF and RPGFan and countless others.
It's basically SD Xenosaga, I think. |

Hilarious link to British gaming site regarding the unveiling of Revolution controller.

All of which leaves: What will Nintendo show and how will it cope with the inevitable disappointment that follows? The problem facing NCL right now is that the Revolution controller will not be a time machine. It will not make your dinner. It will not transport you into parallel dimensions inhabited by Amazonian lady love warriors. It will be a game controller with some kind of trick up its sleeve.

I like how the news clip says the game is scheduled to ship on December 12 for "Gameboy Advance and Gameboy Micro." You know, as opposed to all those games scheduled to ship for one or the other. |

In non-TGS related news, the trailer for Doom is quite hilarious. Try to watch for the excessive number of scenes that are depicted from the FPS perspective. Provided you can take your eyes off sexy, sexy the Rock.
I don't think I've seen a video game movie stick this close to the source material since the first Mortal Kombat, for what its worth. But in this case it's Doom so... |

I only beat this game earlier this year, but I'm still going to get this. HOW many years did it take to port this from the Wonderswan? Jesus.
Now, I hope that they cram FF6 onto the GBA, because I haven't actually played it yet, and I'd rather do so on a handheld system. |

I really don't get all the complaints from the movie thus far. If it didn't stick to the source material, people would bitch. And when it does, people still point and laugh. Yeah, its stupid and cheesy. People forget that the game is basically a rip-off, in spirit, of Aliens. |

I really, really hope that this isn't as overused as it looks like it will be. I was surprised at the Doom 3-era pinky demons, though. Sweet zombie Jesus! |

So, on the coughcough Magic Box cough cough, I saw this:
Treasures is planning to develop a sequel to the hit Nintendo 64 title Sin & Punishment, the company is pleased with the quality of the game.
What? |

You kids are crazy.
We are given proof of a next generation, bloody, version of Gumshoe, and you get excited over replaying Final Fantasy IV?
As well as the revelation that the Nintendo Revolution leaps ahead of puny widescreen TV's and will only work with Nintendo brand Roundscreen! |

Amazing! I've been made legible! The skulls are a bit, um, creepy though.
