You can actually see the "sapped" icon in the upper-right (the one with the 30 second timer below it). He was just about to gank my ass but good. |

Well, Balkoor, Jyot, and Lotasa all "retired" from PvP in disgust after a single week of the 60's bracket, for one thing. Seeing as PvP was pretty much all Lotasa did (she made it all the way to Champion - 3 ranks above me, currently) that should be saying something.
Now that I'm up there and Nazk is well on his way, though, I'm gonna see if I can't get them to hop back in the saddle for a bit. I just want my PvP Mount at rank 11. That's "all". Note that means months of grinding away at it, but I like PvP, so it shouldn't be so bad.
But hey, I might as well set my sights on High Warlord while I'm at it, right? A guy can dream... |

Okay, I'm on the bandwagon.
It'll be a few days before I can join (my monitor is dying and I need to choose a new one), so in the meantime: is there any particular role the lowbies of Deusguild need right now? I'm leaning towards an Undead Priest, but I'm flexible. Would two priests in a five-man party actually be useful for anything, or does the second one typically just sit on his ass and waste a spot?
clarification edit: I *can* join, but being relied upon for an extended period of time (i.e. instances) is out of the question for the next few days. |

| I made a Priest, but I don't even know how long I'll have my account until I find a job, and even then I'll probably treat him as an alt while sticking with my Shaman on Deathwing. And all of this is assuming I don't get bored and quit again. |

p.s. Yes, I am aware there is not a massive differene, but it's quite noticable unless you're being a smartass or possibly haven't played videogames since your Genesis broke in 1996 -- which from what I can gather is pretty common around here anyway, so! |

But, to be fair, a lot of that was just social stuff -- not only was I not power-leveling, I wasn't gaining any experience whatsoever for about half the time I was on. I immensely like all (well, most) of the people I've met playing this game. Would consider a few of them to be reasonably good friends, even.
I'm visiting one of them in California in about a week, even. Bought plane tickets a little while ago.
Really, the social aspect is the only reason I keep playing, but it's fun enough that that's all I need. |
