So here is the discussion of anything relating to comics, graphic novels and so forth.

First off, The imperfects sucks so much ass that 100 issues of new avengers cannot suck as much as one. Discuss.

Tales of Superdickery not about Toups also welcome.

I don't really keep up with comics regularly, unless they're instantly released in trade paperback form. I almost started reading Battle Chasers back when it first came out like five years ago but they only release a new issue once every thousand years. In conclusion everyone should pick up the one volume edition of Bone by Jeff Smith. It's great.

I've got only one comic book in my house; some crappy Topps comic featuring Bill Clinton turning into some sort of monster. I really only look at the pictures of Bill Clinton beating the shit out of some guy with a brick fist; I couldn't tell you, story-wise, what the hell is going on.

I also think I've got some old Incredible Hulk comic book, where every-Marvel-hero-ever gather in front of the White House. Again, no idea why.

I don't know how much more this makes my comics newbness more obvious, but Ultimate FF is super-awesome. In related stuff, the FF movie kinda isn't all that good.

These topics never seem to go anywhere, there's too much ground to cover. There's a reason LPN has those separate film and music sections.

Eh, it just depends. You have to wade through a bit, but there's always a nugget of goodnees here and there.

Anyway, everyone go read Scott Pilgrim!!!

I went to comic con, and saw bob burden. He drew me a picture of flaming carrot for my dad, and I bought some of his books.

next, the death junior comic is pretty good.

otherwise I wasn't interested. just read girly looking manga.

It looks fun. And colorful. Well, actually it doesn't look like much of anything in those two screenshots, but it certainly sounds nifty.

Does anyone ever post in those forums? I haven't even clicked on them. I just spam the general forum.

I hadn't read comics for some time.
I have a few friends within "the industry" but I do my thing and they do theirs. It wasn't until this past Wizard World that I started up again.
A Wizard editor asked me at an afterparty if i'm "in comics" and I said no.
That promted me to start reading the funny pages again.
A friend lent me a few graphic novels from the Ultimates imprint, and I've enjoyed all of them with the exception of Ultimate X-Men.
I'm tired of mutants.
I was also given a collection of The Walking Dead, which I haven't started yet.
