Unfortunately not. It wasn't a recent photo and I've since deleted most of my photos from before this year that I have two version of to make space on my camera as they ones at 640x480 are already on my HDD and also I'm a cheap bastard who won't buy a larger memory stick. I kind of wish I had saved the larger version because I would totally start a black metal band and use it as an album cover.
It's about the same time this year, if it's foggy tomorrow morning I'll take a couple fresh ones. |

This was supposed to be a wonderfully lit up factory meeting the horizon with gorgeous colors in the sky. It ended up a gorgeous mess instead.
And, this one of the reasons that I like the new Konami logo

Playing scales from True Faith to test out the chorus pedal after I popped it open and blew a stash of lint and ratshit out of it (it's older than me) to fix up the fucked gain feedback.

Since that post it has been over 115 at times here. A couple nights ago it was 105 even at 11:30 at night. |

I've only had Morimoto's Hazlenut and Soba Ale in a bottle.
I like to drink j-beer from cans, as if I were flying over the Pacific and worried about being stabbed in the neck with a broken bottle. That's just me. |

We recently had an unseasonable thundershower. News reports said upwards of 50% humidity (?!) with 105 temperatures.
But otherwise, yeah. Dry heat is fun for me! No oppressiveness here, either. |

| Japanese beer is crap. Just because it has a dragon on the bottle, or has a japanese word on the can means nothing, its crap. You may say you like it, buts thats just because it tastes like a beer, but its not good beer. Drink good beer. Go buy some Bass, Newcastle, Smithwicks, Guiness, Blue Moon, or hell even Mickeys (its jam packed with alchohal). The only people that drink J-Beer are people that go, "Japanese beer?! Crazy!" No one drinks it because its good. |

Japanese beer is on par with American shit like Budweiser. It's gross.
The one time I enjoyed (sort of) Japanese beer involved me chugging a 1liter can of Asahi in under 10 minutes in a moving vehicle on the way to a karaoke parlor.
Also, Asahi comes in 4 liter cans in Japan, which is pretty awesome. |

sup wilkes!
The shutter closed before I could draw the mouth :(
I might as well add some other pictures I've taken this spring and summer:
It's pretty obvious that I enjoy taking low-light pictures! I wish I had a tripod because my hands are kind of shaky and it sucks (funny, I used to have the rock-steadiest hands in the world).
I'm pretty sure this is a glitch in the game! It weirded me out, as glitches do. |

Had a nice rain shower and the sun came back out so I went and mowed the lawn. Saw no less than a dozen leopard frogs; this one made a pretty good model.

Hey IC /p/ - I've wanted a second lens since I got my 5D a few months ago, and now it turns out I may be a REAL PAID PHOTOGRAPHER for an indoor event in October, so I can now justify the purchase.
F1.8/50mm seems to be suspiciously inexpensive pretty much across the board, but that's sort of nice. What do you recommend for my Minolta? Also, I've heard eBay is pretty snazzy for used lenses, so I'd probably poke around on there.
The event is a company (not mine!) party, and will include candid shots to be projected onto a big screen during the thing and potentially pictures of people with an alligator. |
