Actually now that there's no postcount I don't feel all uptight about posting. I never felt comfortable having such a high postcount and it's a load off that people won't be able to tell anymore. |

Much simpler than that. I'm using your board and tower, put my hd and video card in it. Filled up the memory slots to about 512 and popped in a 40 gig hd that a friend gave me and installed a copy of windows xp i got from a street vendor in Bangkok. Not surprisingly it took some massaging for the system to run properly.
As for the internet, it never went down, but Hipkondo used it exclusively for about 7 months. He would grab the fiber in his teeth and growl like a feral dog whenever I asked to borrow it. Not unlike you when you lived here. |

I trust you've updated the BIOS? That motherboard had serious problem (like the whole "unable to correctly restart" thing... How much did the 'Bangkok' XP sell for?

Anyway, yeah, I wanted that CDI infomercial, for a friend who was trying to archive every videogame TV ad. I sent him cash for DVDs of these ads, but the rotten cad crooked me out of my money and stopped responding to emails, meaning he is now officialy on my "list of asshat people I dislike".
Otherwise my CDI did arrive, along with the Zelda games. I also got hold of the Mario beta recently. It's fairly neat.
But to answer the topic title, Im not MIA, just that Im over TGQ quite a bit. Goodlord, I had no idea that I'd actually made any kind of impression on people. Anyway, Im going on a 3 day quest tomorrow, and so won't be around for some time.
