| Remember, to actually exchange messages both parties must have each other registered. You know, to keep the kids safe and all that. |

I have work all day today, so I'll find and put mine up tomorrow ish.
Are you guys saying that other people's miis show up in Wii sports? That's crazy! |

Also, stores are trying to sell 2000 Wii points for 25 bucks. On the Wii online store, you can buy them for 20 bucks. Where's the logic in that?
The cards can be given as holiday gifts.

This Wii social stuff is great.
Last night I was pulling an all nighter and around 6AM I was kind of stressing and I could feel myself getting sick and then I was sad about some other shit then - oh wait! - my Wii started glowing blue. I turned it on and found a message from FocusRambo with a racially diverse Mii attached. I swear it made my entire day. So, thanks, FocusRambo and Nintendo. |

Tell me about it. I still get all emotional when I watch that music video I downloaded on Xbox Live. |

Nice to know I could be of help!
Which Mii(s) did I send? I have LOTS of racially diverse Miis!
And yeah, the social thing is really fun, too. I find myself checking my email/messages over and over. |

Now if only we had some games to play! Thanks for the Mii's for those who sent them. And for those that didn't, I may have gotten yours anyway out of the parade. I guess that's just where other people's mii's randomly appear.
Oh, and if you want to put photos on the Wii but don't have a SD card, just send yourself a message to your email account, then you can send images from that email address to the Wii. Seems to take a long time for messages to actually arrive, for some reason. The doodle mode is so very kid-pix, right down to the rocketship wipe for erasing. Also, watch out for that cat!
(sorry, this was off topic for the wii number thread, so, um, "I added everyone up to this point and even sent some mii's to...some people!) |

| So there's a difference between attaching a Mii to a letter and sending a Mii from the Plaza, right, and the difference is that when you attach a Mii to a letter it doesn't actually go anywhere? It'd be nice if it auto-attached your Miis to your names in my address book. The mail organization system is boneheaded and I would like a simple list that tells me which ones I have and haven't checked and replied to. |

Yeah, I just realized that to be the case...It just adds the face to it. So, I "sent" some people a mii or two but all they really got is the face. You gotta send Mii's from the mii plaza (or grab them out of the parade). Now I don't want to send things twice to people, but I may end up doing it anyway... |

| A Mii is a highly customizable avatar to represent the player in various parts of the OS and games. |

The idea is, for games like Wii Sports that would otherwise have random generic characters, instead the game uses your "Mii" avatars you've created to represent the players and the crowd. You can save your Mii to your remote, meaning whenever you go over to someone's house you've got your "identity" with you. You can design and send Mii to other people online. There's the potential for future games to use the Mii data in other ways, like for Kojima to make all of the soldiers in MGS look kind of like Mii stored on your system -- though more gritty and realistic.
It's kind of neat. |

| I took my Mii to a friend's Wii today and using our own avatars made boxing a lot of fun. I made a lot of obnoxious in-game gestures when I won. |

| In Bowling, when you throw the ball backwards, it shows you the bowling crowd freaking out at this disaster you've created. I totally saw Hitler in there. |
