Post/discuss great album covers here.

I shall get the proverbial ball rolling.

That one might be my all-time favorite. If not that one, then maybe:

However you may feel about Beck, you must admit that is a great cover.

Okay, so I've got to post two more Warren Zevon albums. Great covers, great titles too.

(ewww, poor quality pic of that one)

vision, you beat me to the Can. I've always loved the cover of Inventions & Dimensions, too: he almost looks like he's floating, or not quite there, standing on the road — existing in another dimension, visible in ours.

I was going to mention Yoshimi, but I thought it would be too obvious.

Thank you for doing it though. : )

I do like that Flaming Lips cover a lot. The album itself is pretty good, too! Their last really good one, maybe? I mean, the At War With the Mystics wears thin pretty quickly... I think. I mean, I haven't listened to it at all since the first month it came out, so yeah, that must be true. I may come back to it, though.

Hell, I think I'll put Yoshimi on right now.

I KNOW It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold us Back is the better album, but this cover is better.

Sync-Swim, I feel retarded for having forgotten Unknown Pleasures (I have it hanging on my wall between my Ambient 1 and Black Sabbath LPs!), but thank you for reminding me.

It's funnier to think Apple threated to sue them over this.

That's all until I can find a scanner.

Yeah, that probably is the best Sabbath cover. I couldn't quite settle on one for my first post in this thread — I'm always torn between the first four (maybe five) albums, though the cover of Master of Reality isn't as interesting as the others.

This one is the one hanging on my wall, though, so...!

And yeah, it's the gatefold version with the big inverted cross inside.

As long as we're agreed that "Unknown Pleasures" is likely the greatest record cover of all time, I'm alright.
