How are the graphics, Gamecube(ish)...like a more powerful Gamecube? or N64 with fancy effects level?
I'm not a graphics whore, but do Nintendo games look new enough to compete with the other UBER powerful NEXT GEN machines on the market?
I only trust the axe and that chick at IGN who licks stuff! |

| The graphics are fine. Nope, not impressive. That said, I don't care. They're at a high enough level to be reasonably realistic and/or stylized. |

| At work today, I heard some guys laughing about how XPlay did a comparison of PS3 and Wii graphics and LOL THE WII LOOKED SO BAD COMPARED TO THE PS3. Honestly, who gives a shit? That's like saying LOL YOUR HONDA CIVIC SI GOT SMOKED BY THAT FERRARI. |

| Right I don't want uber next gen graphics. Stylistically I guess the question is if the games look and feel new enough, and not just like gamecube games with a new controller. |

| I'm playing on a 50" HDTV in 480p. Wii Sports looks great, but it's jaggy compared to say Lego Star Wars II on the XBOX 360. The thing is, nothing is trying too hard to look good yet. So if I compare Wii Sports and DK Jungle Beat, with both running at 480p, Jungle Beat is going to win. We'll see how it's doing when Mario Galaxy comes out. |
